Job Title: Warehouse Order Puller

Location: Houston, TX 77051

Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 7AM-5PM

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Order Puller with direct experience handling pipes, flanges, and valves . The ideal candidate will efficiently manage order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pull orders for pipes, flanges, valves, and fittings based on customer requests.
• Receiving & Shipping: Assist with unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Inventory Management: Organize and store materials in designated areas while maintaining accurate inventory counts.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure a clean and orderly work environment by sweeping, organizing shelves, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to move and manage inventory.

Qualifications:

• Must have hands-on experience handling pipes, flanges, and valves.
• Experience operating Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Reach Trucks, and Order Pickers is preferred.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience , including shipping and receiving.
• Background working with carbon fittings and flanges is highly preferred.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or move objects over 100 lbs. with proper lifting equipment.
• Regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Occasionally sit or climb.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment requiring precise visual and manual coordination.
