Responsibilities: Oversee client portfolios within the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate, hedge funds). Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients. Manage teams of tax professionals/assistants working on client projects. Assess tax impacts of rule and law changes, develop tax arguments, and make recommendations. Facilitate engagement risk management, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets. Deliver high-quality tax services to clients. Qualifications: Minimum five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or other approved credentials. If not possessed at hire, must obtain within one year. Proficient in taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial information.
