Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Specialist plays a key role in managing the procurement, replenishment, and allocation of materials needed to meet project demands. This role ensures the timely delivery of components, maintains accurate inventory levels, and collaborates with both internal teams and external suppliers to optimize supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at balancing operational needs with cost efficiency while upholding Tomorrow RNG’s safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate and manage purchasing activities for assigned Unit(s) to meet project and operational needs.

• Serve as the primary administrator for TRNG’s PO Bellwether system, ensuring accurate entry, approval routing, and tracking of purchase orders.

• Partner with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and components while fostering strong vendor relationships.

• Resolve invoice discrepancies, goods receipt issues, and purchase price corrections to support Accounts Payable processing.

Inventory Management

• Assist with the replenishment and allocation of inventory across locations to meet established TRNG inventory objectives.

• Manage inventory using analytical models, including visual management, periodic review, and order point methodologies.

• Review and maintain emergency stock levels for each site to ensure operational readiness.

• Assist physical inventory counts and cycle across multiple stocking locations with minimal supervision.

• Monitor and analyze historical data to align inventory levels with forecasts and budgets.

• Ensure accurate and timely inventory records by tracking material usage and resolving material clearing issues.

• Maintain high inventory accuracy through audits and compliance with SOX control requirements.

Operations Collaboration

• Work closely with operations teams to determine material needs and technical specifications.

• Create and execute action plans to mitigate risk and ensure appropriate stock availability for project start dates.

• Attend cross-functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review inventory levels, usage trends, and supply chain updates.

Financial & Compliance Oversight

• Support financial analysis and reporting for inventory to ensure compliance with TRNG reporting requirements.

• Maintain documentation to meet SOX control standards.

• Track and report on inventory costs to ensure accuracy in project accounting and budgeting.

Safety & Culture

• Promote and uphold TRNG’s safety culture, ensuring all supply chain activities align with corporate safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

• 3+ years of supply chain, procurement, or inventory management experience, ideally in energy, manufacturing, or industrial operations.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with inventory control systems and methodologies.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and vendor management skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance requirements a plus.

• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Work Environment & Travel

• This position is based in a regional office in McKinney, Tx with occasional visits to field sites or vehicle yards as needed.

• Travel expected; must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• This role is expected to work with significant independence on standard/complex assignments.

Compensation details: 68000-84500 Yearly Salary
