Job Description: We are seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, fix, and test electronic circuit boards. You will use tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify problems, replace faulty parts, and ensure everything functions perfectly. This role requires strong technical skills, great attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and isolate faults on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Perform component-level repairs, including the replacement of defective parts such as integrated circuits (ICs), resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Utilize advanced soldering techniques, including surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering, to replace components without damaging the board.
• Perform rework and modification of circuit cards as needed.
• Conduct functional tests on repaired circuit cards to ensure they meet specified performance parameters using test fixtures and automated test equipment (ATE).

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
• Exceptional soldering and de-soldering skills for both SMT and through-hole components.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• An Associate's degree in electronics, a technical school certificate, or equivalent military training in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and PCBs.
• Familiarity with schematic diagrams and technical drawings.

Work Environment

Work in a technical environment using advanced tools and equipment. Standard work hours with a focus on safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of electrostatic-sensitive devices (ESD).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64000.00/yr.
