Q UALIFICATIONS :

1. Must have a high school diploma or
2. Must be 21 years of age.
3. Specific vision is a requirement in these job duties, including distance and peripheral vision and depth perception
4. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic
5. Must be able to organize and prioritize work and to meet
6. Must have or obtain First Aid/CPR certification and a Navajo Nation food handler's
7. Bilingual (Dine/English)
8. Must be able to meet minimum physical
9. Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving

D UTIES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Complies with and supports all Shiprock Associated Schools, Inc. policies and procedures; includes guidelines related to COVID-19 and any unforeseen pandemic.
2. Integrates the organizations' philosophy concepts and mission statement into the work
3. Will perform the following job assignments:
   1. Clean, sweep and mop all classrooms, windows, offices,
   2. Vacuum and dust all classrooms, offices, kitchens, hallways, lavatories,
   3. Empty all trash and other garbage containers,
   4. Sweep and maintain outdoor sidewalks daily for safety conditions,
   5. Clean snow and debris from the sidewalks,
   6. Ensure all indoor lighting is maintained, and
   7. Ensure all bathroom areas are adequately
4. Keeps the grounds free from rubbish and empties trash into proper containers daily.
5. Makes minor building repairs as assigned and/or
6. Reports unsafe conditions and needed repairs by promptly submitting a work order
7. Immediately reports to the supervisor any damage to the custodial equipment such as the polisher, vacuum, carpet shampooer as required.
8. Immediately reports to the supervisor any damage or theft of school
9. Keeps an inventory of supplies and equipment on-hand and notifies the Facilities Manager in a timely
10. Conducts self in a professional manner at all times for the safety and welfare of the students.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
