Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced consultant to facilitate and deliver a structured, three-day leadership development program for employees at various organizational locations in 2026. The consultant must hold certification to proctor Everything DiSC Workplace [Wiley Publishing version] assessment and possess expertise in leadership training, professional development, and workforce development. This role involves delivering multiple training sessions across New York State, focusing on building leadership skills, fostering emotional intelligence, and enhancing team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate seven three-day leadership development sessions, incorporating the DiSC Workplace assessment as a core component.
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, covering topics such as:
• Leading self and others.
• Emotional intelligence and resilience.
• Building effective relationships and coalitions.
• Coaching and providing feedback.
• Decision-making, goal setting and problem-solving.
• Professionalism, accountability and ethics.
• Guide participants in applying leadership strategies that focus on self-awareness and team motivation.
• Support individuals in aligning team goals with organizational missions and ethical standards.
• Create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment to ensure active participation and skill development.

2026 Schedule:

The consultant will conduct seven three-day sessions in the following New York locations and dates:

Albany -March 24-25-26

Fishkill -April 21-22-23

Niagara Falls -May 19-20-21

Syracuse -June 23-24-25

Hauppauge -July 21-22-23

Albany -October 20-21-22

Bronx -November 17-18-19

Each session comprises three consecutive days of instruction, totaling six hours of training per day, with two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch break.

Qualifications:

• Certification to proctor the DiSC Workplace assessment (mandatory).
• Proven experience in delivering leadership development and professional training programs.
• Strong understanding of topics such as emotional intelligence, team building, coaching, and ethical leadership.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt training content to diverse audiences and learning styles.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations for in-person training sessions.

• -The DiSC Index: Measures behavioral style, or how a person prefers to act.
• - The Values Index: Identifies a person's core motivators, or why they do what they do.
• - The Attribute Index: Assesses an individual's natural talents and thinking style, or what they are naturally equipped to do.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with public sector organizations or similar environments.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and methods.

Compensation:

This is a contract [1099] position w/o benefits. Compensation will be discussed based on qualifications and experience.
