Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Disability Law Firm
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: [Valley and Auburn, AL]

We are a compassionate, fast-paced disability law firm helping clients navigate Social Security Disability (SSD/SSI) and Veterans Disability claims. Our mission is to combine legal expertise with empathy to make a real difference in our clients’ lives.
Responsibilities:
• Greet clients and handle phone calls/emails professionally
• Conduct client intake and gather case information
• Organize and maintain legal files (digital and paper)
• Request and track medical records
• Prepare and file documents with SSA and/or VA
• Schedule hearings, appointments, and important deadlines
• Support attorneys and case managers with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
• Office/administrative experience required (legal or medical preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; case management software a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Empathy and professionalism when working with clients

Schedule
• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
• In-office position (no remote work)
